Indosat and F5 launch the Intelligence Suite: 300+ AI models in one governed platform for Asian enterprises

Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison and F5 have launched the Indosat Intelligence Suite, an enterprise AI platform that puts more than 300 open and closed AI models behind a single, governed interface. Announced October 9, the suite lets Asian businesses pick the right model per workload, convert token usage into allocatable credits, and keep sensitive work in-country — without building the AI infrastructure themselves.
The launch is the next step in Indosat’s transformation from telco to AI provider. The suite builds on what the company describes as a full-stack AI ecosystem in Indonesia — spanning energy, data centres, compute, connectivity and AI models — and turns that foundation into an enterprise product: one catalogue, one interface, and one bill for intelligence.
One catalogue, one bill
Businesses get access to a single catalogue of more than 300 open and closed models: Sahabat-AI, Indosat-hosted models, and connected global models, all reachable through the same platform. A built-in routing layer matches each workload to the model that fits — on cost, quality or latency — and the platform supports local-language, dedicated and advanced-reasoning use cases from the same catalogue.
The economics are designed for predictability. Token usage converts into credits that can be allocated across models, applications and teams, giving enterprises one consolidated view of AI consumption and spend. Three commercial options cover the range: Pay as You Go for developers and growing businesses, Unified Enterprise Credit, and Dedicated Capacity for enterprises, governments and regulated organizations. Indosat is targeting 50 businesses and organisations at launch, with early access at promotional pricing through the year.

F5’s job: security and speed
F5 supplies the trust layer underneath. BIG-IP Next for Kubernetes provides tenant isolation and container security, with GPU-aware load balancing aimed at better time-to-first-token and overall token throughput. Requests can be authenticated, metered and logged through an auditable ledger, and the suite folds in F5 AI Security capabilities covering OWASP Top 10 LLM threats and data leakage.
The framing is deliberate: “Indosat is building the region’s AI future, and F5 is proud to secure and optimize it,” said F5 chairman and CEO François Locoh-Donou. “Businesses can access, route, measure and manage AI consumption across multiple models without having to build and manage every underlying layer themselves.”

Sovereignty built in
The data-residency story may be the most strategic part. For organisations with local data requirements, Sahabat-AI and Indosat-hosted tiers can process workloads in-market, while policies determine which workloads may be routed to global models — a structure that keeps regulated workloads inside the country by default.
Indosat president director and CEO Vikram Sinha put it bluntly: “As AI moves from experimentation into everyday business, companies need more than access to models, they need a trusted way to put intelligence into production.” His company’s answer is what he calls an “intelligence factory” — selling not compute or models alone, but the governed layer that turns both into something enterprises can actually put into production.
The telco-to-AI-factory play
The move fits a wider regional pattern: Asian carriers sitting on spectrum, land and power are racing to convert those assets into AI infrastructure, and the winner will be whoever sells the simplest path from pilot to production. Indosat’s pitch — models, routing, metering, billing and security in one contract — is aimed squarely at the companies that have stalled at exactly that step.
The Indosat Intelligence Suite is available from today at intelligencesuite-ai.ioh.co.id, where enterprises can review the model catalogue, pricing and documentation and request access. Whether the “intelligence factory” label survives contact with procurement departments, the packaging — one interface over 300+ models with local residency — is the shape enterprise AI buying seems to be taking across the region.
